Indicators Manufacturers

Up here in Udyog Vihar Phase-III, things are mostly about the work. We are at plot 472 and it is an industrial area, so there is always the sound of machines or trucks loading things up. Indicators Manufacturers is not a big fancy office. It’s a place where we actually make things. The floor is concrete and usually has some scuff marks from moving heavy boxes around. We have some machines that run pretty loud, so you have to talk a bit louder when you are standing near them. My hands are usually a bit dirty by the end of the day from handling the parts. We don't really have a receptionist or anything like that. If someone comes to the door, whoever is closest just goes to see what they need. It gets quite hot in the summer because the roof is high and the fans only do so much. We have a small corner with a table where we eat our lunch. Usually, we just bring stuff from home like parathas or rice. The neighborhood is full of other factories and warehouses, so it feels like everyone is just busy with their own production. We have been at this address for a while and we know the delivery drivers who come by every week. It isn't a glamorous job, but we keep the machines running and make sure the orders are packed. It’s just a normal day of work for us. We start at nine and finish when the sun is going down. Sometimes we stay late if there is a lot to do.
