J M D Polymers is located down in Gali No 7 within the Kadipur Industrial Area. If you are looking for plot 189/190, you have to drive past a lot of big trucks and warehouses to find us. The air around here always has that heavy, industrial smell of melting plastic and grease from the machines. It is not the quietest place to work because the grinders and the molding units are running for most of the morning. We spend a lot of time moving large bags of raw material around the floor. The concrete is stained and there are stacks of finished goods waiting by the big shutter door to be loaded onto the tempos. It gets very dusty in the industrial area, especially when the wind picks up in the afternoon and blows through the open gates. We usually have a few guys working the late shift to keep up with the orders coming in. There is a small office area tucked in the back where we keep the papers and the water cooler. Most of our days are just about watching the gauges and making sure the heat is right for the plastic. It is a gritty kind of job but it keeps us busy. Sometimes the delivery drivers stop for a chat while they wait for their paperwork. We just focus on keeping the machines going and making sure the Gali stays clear enough for trucks.
