We’ve been here at N 2/9 on Jacranda Marg for a while now. If you know DLF Phase II, you know it can get a bit busy, but our spot is usually alright. It’s mostly just us handling all the paper products that come through these doors. There are boxes stacked up in the corners and the sound of the tape dispenser is pretty much the background music of our day. We start early, usually when the sun is just hitting the trees outside. Some days are slow, while others involve a lot of moving things around to make space. It isn't a fancy office with glass walls or anything like that. It’s a practical workspace where we get things done. Most of the people around here are regulars. We see the same faces walking by on the street every afternoon. Sometimes the delivery trucks take a bit of time to navigate the turn into the lane, which can be a bit of a headache, but we manage. We’ve got a small kettle for tea and a couple of desks that have seen better days. It feels like home after all this time. We don't spend much time on decorations. It's just a place where work happens. We try to keep things organized, though with paper, that’s always a bit of a losing battle. It’s just how it is. Sometimes the rain makes the lane muddy, but we just put down some cardboard to keep the floor clean.
