Pragati Welding Machineries

Pragati Welding Machineries is located on Pataudi Road in Kadipur. We are right by the petrol pump, which is a good landmark because the road can get quite hectic. We’ve been here for a long time selling and fixing welding machines. The workshop is always full of iron and heavy equipment. It’s a bit dusty because of all the traffic outside, but we don't really notice it anymore. We have a small group of workers who know these machines inside and out. We spend a lot of time taking things apart and putting them back together. It’s not a job for someone who wants to stay clean. We wear our old clothes and we usually have grease on our hands. We don’t have a big website or a fancy logo. Most people just know us from being on Pataudi Road for so many years. We drink tea together in the afternoons and talk about the work. It’s a very grounded way of living. Sometimes a customer comes in with a machine that’s completely broken, and we have to tell them it’s going to take a few days to find the right parts. We don't like to rush things because then mistakes happen. We just do the work properly and hope people are happy with it. It’s a simple business but it’s ours.
