Working at the Ambience Tower on the 12th floor means we spend a lot of time looking at the cars moving along the NH-8. It’s a very busy part of Ambience Island. Panasonic India has been here for a good while, and we’ve seen the area change quite a bit. The office is pretty standard, with lots of rows of desks and people on their headsets. We handle a lot of the corporate side of things from this location. It’s not just about the TVs or the cameras people see in shops; there’s a lot of back-end work that happens here too. Sometimes the lifts take forever to come, which is a bit of a nuisance when you’re running late for a meeting. We eat our lunch in the breakroom or sometimes go down to the mall if we have the time. It’s a regular office life, really. We deal with suppliers, handle some of the marketing stuff, and try to keep everything organized across the country. It’s a lot of emails and spreadsheets, nothing too exciting most days. We are right on the border of Delhi and Gurgaon, so people come in from all over. We just try to make sure we’re doing our jobs right and that the company keeps ticking along from this 12th-floor spot. It’s a busy place but we’ve got a good routine going now. The office is just a place to get work done, nothing more.
