Mass Metal Craft

We are located in Udyog Vihar Phase III, at 42/D. It’s a busy part of Gurgaon where everyone is making something. At Mass Metal Craft, we focus on the hands-on side of metalwork. Our shop floor is usually a mess of welding sparks and metal shavings, but we know where everything is. We have a few benches where we do the detailed finishing by hand. It’s not always pretty, but it’s real work. The noise of the grinders is basically the background music for our day. We don't have a big HR department or fancy lunchrooms. We just have a small space where we keep our tools and the projects we’re currently working on. Some of the guys have been welding since they were teenagers, so they really know their way around a torch. We get orders for all sorts of metal items, and we just figure out the best way to build them. Sometimes we stay late when a big job needs to get out the door by morning. The coffee is usually strong and the talk is mostly about the work at hand. We like being in Phase III because everything we need is right nearby. It’s a gritty, productive place and we fit right in with the rest of the workshops. It's just about getting the metal bent and joined correctly so it lasts, nothing more complicated than that. Every morning we start early to beat the heat.
