Our place is over in Sector 5, not too far from the CRP Camp on Mata Sheetla Road. This area has changed quite a bit over the years. We’re situated on Lt. Atul Kataria Marg, which stays pretty busy with trucks and commuters. The sound of traffic is something we’ve just gotten used to. Our facility is practical and built for work. We don’t have fancy carpets or glass walls here. It’s mostly metal and concrete. The dust from the road keeps us busy with cleaning, but that's just part of being in this location. We start our work early to beat the heat when we can. A lot of our day is spent handling orders and making sure things are moving. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s what we do. Pragati Metal Udyog has been around this neighborhood for a long time. We know the other business owners nearby and we help each other out when someone needs a hand. Our office is just a small room at the front where we keep the books and answer the phone. It’s a straightforward way of working. No big meetings or long presentations. We just talk to our customers and do the work. If you’re driving down Mata Sheetla Road, we’re easy to spot near the camp. We don't worry about being perfect, we just try to be useful and keep the machines running like they are supposed to. We keep our paperwork in basic folders and try to stay on top of the schedule every week.
