Rk Glass & Aluminum Works

We operate out of Katran Market on Pataudi Road. Our shop is near the Police Chowki in Kadipur, so it's a pretty easy landmark to find. Most of our day is spent cutting glass or putting aluminum frames together. It’s a noisy job with all the sawing and clinking, but we don’t mind. We have to be careful with the glass because one wrong move and it’s gone. We've got stacks of aluminum sections in the corner and glass sheets leaning against the walls. It’s a working shop, not a gallery, so there’s usually some scrap metal on the floor and a bit of a mess. We work with local builders and people just fixing up their own places. We do the measurements, cut the pieces, and get them ready. Sometimes we’re out on a site fitting windows, and other times we’re here in the shop. It’s physical work and your back starts to feel it by the end of the day. We don’t have any polished slogans. We just show up, take the orders, and start cutting. The market is always moving and we’re just another part of that. We take pride in just getting the pieces to fit right. That's what really matters when you're working with these materials. If the shop is empty, we’re probably just around the corner grabbing a quick lunch before the next delivery truck arrives at the market gate.
