S K Aluminium & Glass

Our shop, S K Aluminium & Glass, is tucked away in Sukhrali right on M G Road. If you know the area, you know how busy M G Road can get at almost any time of the day. We have stacks of aluminium sections in different finishes and crates of glass sheets leaning against the walls. Working with glass means we have to be pretty careful, so the atmosphere is usually quiet but focused. We spend a lot of time with glass cutters and measuring tapes in our hands. Sukhrali is a good place for us because there are always people moving in or fixing up their shops nearby. We see a lot of the same people walking past our door every day. The sunlight hits the front of the shop in the afternoon and makes all the glass reflect onto the street. It can get pretty warm inside during those hours. We don't have a big office or anything like that; it’s mostly just the work floor and a small desk where we keep the records. Sometimes we have to go out to help someone install a window or a door, so the shop might be closed for an hour or two while we are away. It’s just how a small business like ours operates. S K Aluminium & Glass is just a local spot where we try to stay busy and keep the glass from breaking. We have been here for years now and the routine stays mostly the same. We usually end the day by cleaning the cutting table.
