Jha International is tucked away at Feroz Gandhi No. 1&2, specifically at number 9. It’s a bit of an older building, but it has a lot of character and the rent is fair. We’ve been operating from here for some time now. The space is a mix of an office and a storage area. We handle various international bits and pieces, which means there’s always paperwork piled up on the wooden desks. We try to keep things organized, but sometimes the files have a mind of their own when we get busy. It’s not a big corporate headquarters with a lobby. It’s just a few rooms where we manage everything. The windows look out onto the street, so we see the daily life of the neighborhood while we work. We drink a lot of tea to keep us going through the afternoon slump. Most of our days are spent on the phone or typing away on some old keyboards that click quite loudly. It can get a bit hectic when shipments are arriving or leaving the loading area. We don’t have a uniform or anything like that. We just come in and do what needs to be done. Sometimes the lighting in the back room is a bit dim, but we know exactly where everything is kept. It’s a small, family-style operation where everyone chips in to help. We aren't trying to change the world; we’re just making sure our orders get where they need to go on time. It is honest work for us.
