You can find us in the South City Market area of Gurgaon. We are quite close to Mayom Hospital, which is a big landmark for people who are not familiar with the market layout. Despite the name, we are just a local hair shop serving the neighborhood. The market is always buzzing with people shopping for groceries or going to the hospital, so we see a lot of foot traffic throughout the day. Our shop is a practical space. We have the standard setup for hair cutting and grooming. It is not a large place, so it can feel a bit tight when we have three or four people waiting for their turn. We have got some old pictures on the walls and a TV that is usually on a news channel to pass the time. The chairs are comfortable enough for a quick haircut. We do not do anything too fancy or expensive here. It is mostly just men from South City coming in for their monthly trim. We have been in this market for a good while and know all the other shopkeepers around. Gurgaon has changed a lot with all the new buildings and malls, but the market still feels like a grounded part of town. We just focus on giving a decent haircut and keeping the place tidy. There is no big corporate office behind us, just us working every day. We open up in the morning and stay until the market starts to quiet down at night. It is an honest way to make a living.
