Afzar Hair Saloon

You can find Afzar Hair Saloon right in Sukhrali Village, near MG Road in Sector 17. We are situated quite close to the City Bank branch there. Being in the village area while also being so close to the main MG Road gives our shop a unique feel. We get a mix of people coming in—some who have lived in Sukhrali for generations and others who work in the nearby offices in Gurgaon. The shop is pretty basic. We’ve got the standard barber chairs and a few mirrors that have seen a lot of history over the years. We spend a lot of time talking about what’s happening in the city or just gossiping about local news. It’s a small space, so it gets warm in the afternoons, but we have a fan that keeps the air moving as best as it can. We don’t go for anything fancy like those high-end salons. Here, it’s just about getting a decent haircut and maybe a head massage if the customer has some extra time. We take pride in just showing up and doing the job right. The floor is usually covered in hair by the afternoon, and the smell of talcum powder is everywhere inside. It’s a busy life being a barber in this part of town. We’ve been here for a while and don't plan on going anywhere soon. It’s just how we earn our living. People seem to like the simple approach we have.
