Interblocco Urniture

We are out at Plot No. 170 in Sector 6 of the IMT in Manesar. Interblocco Urniture is basically a big workshop where we deal with wood, metal, and fabric all day long. The air is usually full of sawdust, so we wear masks most of the time. It’s an industrial spot, so there aren’t many places to eat nearby besides the small stalls. We spend our mornings cutting frames and the afternoons doing the upholstery or finishing the surfaces. We have some heavy workbenches that have been around for a long time, covered in scratches and old glue. It’s not the kind of place where you’d want to wear nice clothes. We have a small corner with a table where we look at drawings and figure out how to put things together. Manesar can be a bit isolated, but it gives us the space we need to build things. Sometimes the delivery trucks have trouble finding our specific plot in Sector 6 because the signs aren't great. We just keep the bay doors open to let some air in while we work. It’s a lot of physical labor, lifting heavy boards and moving finished pieces into the storage area. We don’t really think of it as anything special, just a place where we make things that people use in their homes or offices. The electric saw has a specific whine that we've all grown used to.
