We are Ifsc Oils And Fats Pvt Ltd, and you can find us on the ground floor of Shiv Plaza. The building is at 565 Railway Road, tucked behind the Allahabad Bank near the crossing for Sector 4 and Sector 7. It’s a busy intersection, so there is always noise from the traffic outside. We deal with different types of oils and fats, mostly for commercial use. Our space is filled with containers and barrels. It can get a bit slippery on the floor if we aren't careful during the pouring, so we spend a lot of time cleaning up spills. We aren't a big flashy company. We just have a small office and a storage area where we keep the stock. Most of our day is spent talking to vendors and checking the quality of the batches that come in. Sometimes the delivery trucks have a hard time finding the entrance because of the bank traffic, so we often have to go out and wave them in. It’s a lot of physical work, moving heavy containers around. We use a simple ledger to keep track of what comes in and what goes out. We’ve been in this spot for a while and the neighbors know us well. It is just a regular local business where we try to stay busy and keep the orders moving along. Nothing fancy happens here, just the daily grind of the oil and fat trade.
