G K N Services

We run our operations from a small spot on Mehrauli MG Road. G K N Services is located along this very busy stretch of road with the metro overhead and cars zooming by at all hours. We have a small office here that serves as our home base. It’s basically just one room with some filing cabinets, a couple of desks, and our tool bags stacked by the door. Most of our work happens out at other people's places, but this is where we meet up in the morning to plan the day. The windows get covered in road dust pretty quickly, so we don't bother cleaning them too often. We have a small fridge for cold drinks and a kettle for making tea when we get a break. The traffic noise is something you just get used to after a while. It’s a small team, just me and a few others who handle the service calls. We don't have a receptionist, so if the phone rings while we are out, it just goes to a mobile. It’s a bit of a scramble sometimes to get everything done, especially when the traffic on MG Road is at a standstill. We just do what we can and try to keep things moving. There’s no mission statement on the wall or anything, just a calendar and some notes scrawled on a whiteboard.
