Flowguards

Sector 7 is a pretty quiet part of the city compared to some of the other blocks, but we stay busy enough at number 529. We’ve been set up here for a bit now, just doing our thing. The name on the door says Flowguards, and that is pretty much what we deal with every day. It’s mostly about managing stuff that goes through pipes or keeping things from leaking where they shouldn't. It is not the most exciting work to talk about at a dinner party, but it is necessary for a lot of the local buildings and small factories around here. The office is tucked away, so if you aren’t looking for it, you might just drive right past. We don’t have any big flashy signs or anything like that. Inside, it’s mostly just desks, a few shelves of samples, and some stacks of papers that we need to file away. Sometimes it gets a bit cramped when a new shipment comes in, but we manage to move things around. The light in the front room is a bit flickery lately, but we keep meaning to get a ladder and fix that bulb. Most of the people who work here live close by, so we don't have to deal with long commutes. We just come in, do the job, and go home. It’s a simple way to run things, and it works out for us. We often have a quick lunch together at the small table in the corner before getting back to the orders.
