Our office is up on the third floor at P 33 in South City 1. It’s a bit of a climb, but it gives us a good view and a quiet place to handle the business of Fermes Nature Farms Llp. We aren’t actually out in the fields every single minute, though we’d like to be. A lot of the work involves sitting at desks, making phone calls, and dealing with all the legal bits that come with running a farm business. It’s a bit strange being in a residential area like South City 1 while talking about nature and farms all day, but it works for us. We started this because we wanted to be involved in the farming world, even if our daily reality involves more spreadsheets than soil. We aren’t some massive company with fancy receptionists and coffee machines. We just have our desks, our computers, and a lot of passion for what we do. Sometimes we get so busy that the office looks like a mess of papers and coffee mugs, but that’s just how we operate. We’re just regular people trying to bridge the gap between the city and the farm. It takes a lot of coordination and some long hours, but we find it worth it. We aren't trying to impress anyone with big words or polished stories. This is just our life and our work, and we try to keep it as simple as possible even when the city life gets loud.
