Kumaran Farm

Kumaran Farm is actually based out of an office at 306, JMD Regent Square in DLF Phase-II. It might seem a bit odd to have a farm office in such a modern commercial building, but it works for us. Most of the actual farm work happens elsewhere, while this is where we handle the business side of things. It’s a lot of phone calls, coordinating with workers on the ground, and managing the sales. The building is quite nice, with big windows and air conditioning, which is a big change from being out in the fields. We’ve got some files, a few computers, and photos of the crops on the walls. It’s a small team here in Phase-II. We spend our time looking at market prices and talking to buyers. Sometimes it feels a bit disconnected from the dirt and the tractors, but this part of the job is just as important to keep everything running. We don’t have a lot of walk-in traffic, mostly just pre-arranged meetings or folks from other offices in the square stopping by to say hello. It’s a professional enough setup, but we’re still farmers at heart. We don't use much corporate speak around here. We just talk about the weather and how the harvest is looking this year. It's a decent place to get the paperwork done while staying connected to our roots.
