Electronic Engineer

My place is H. No. : 257/7 in Inderapuri. It’s a bit of a maze back here in this part of Gurgaon, but I’ve been here long enough that everyone knows where the Electronic Engineer is. The house is old, and I’ve turned the front room into my workshop. There are shelves reaching all the way to the ceiling filled with old monitors, power strips, and tangled cables. Gurgaon has changed so much with all those glass buildings, but Inderapuri still feels like a village in some ways. I usually start work around nine, unless the power is out, which happens more than I’d like. I don’t have a website or any of that, just a sign outside that’s a little faded now. Most of my work comes from people walking by or neighbors telling their friends. I fix whatever comes through the door, from small kitchen appliances to more complicated industrial boards. My hands are usually stained with something, and there’s always a pile of scrap metal in the corner waiting for the junk man. It's not a big corporate operation. It's just a guy in a room with a voltmeter and a lot of patience. Sometimes the kids from the street come and watch me work, asking a million questions. I don't mind it, keeps things interesting while I'm trying to find a short circuit. It's just honest work in a busy city.
