Dharam Timber Traders

You can find us at Dharam Timber Traders on Basai Road, right in the Bara Bazar area. This place is always full of wood. We have stacks of planks and logs piled up everywhere you look. The air always smells like fresh cut timber and sawdust, which I guess is better than city smog. We spend a lot of time moving heavy pieces of wood around. It is hard work and our clothes are always covered in dust by the end of the day. The yard is a bit messy, especially when it rains and things get muddy underfoot. We do not have a fancy office, just a small desk where we keep the notebooks and the measurements for orders. People come by needing wood for all sorts of things, maybe a door or some simple furniture. We try to help them find a piece that fits what they are doing. Sometimes the trucks coming in to drop off new loads block the street for a bit, but that is just how it is in Bara Bazar. It is a noisy place with the saws going and people shouting over the engines. We have been doing this for a long time and we know our wood pretty well. It is just a simple timber yard where we work from morning until the sun goes down. Most people know us by now and they just wave when they pass by.
