Our office is way up on the 11th floor of Tower C in DLF Cyber City, Phase 2. This is where Carrier Race Technologies Pvt. Ltd. is based. Being in Cyber City is a bit different from a regular street shop. Everything is glass and steel, and there are thousands of people rushing around in suits. But inside our office at No. 8, it’s a lot more casual. We have our computers set up, some half-dead plants on the windowsills, and a lot of empty water bottles. We work on various technology projects, which involves a lot of sitting and staring at code or data. The view from the 11th floor is actually pretty good, especially when the sun starts to go down over the city. Even though we are in a big fancy building, we are still just a group of people trying to get our work done. We have our fair share of broken printers and slow mornings where the coffee machine is the most important piece of tech in the room. It’s a fast-paced environment outside, but we try to keep things calm in here. We don’t go for all that corporate talk about being the best or changing the world. We just take the projects as they come, try to solve the problems that pop up, and make sure everything is running by the time we leave for the day. It is just basic daily work.
