I work over at the office in DLF Cyber Terraces, which is part of Phase III. We are on the 7th floor of Tower B in Building 5. It is a very big glass building, typical for this part of the city. Being in Cyber City means everything is very modern and there are people everywhere. Our floor is mostly open-plan with a lot of desks and cubicles. It is a busy place, especially in the mornings when everyone is trying to get through the security gates. We have a lot of printers and cameras around the office because that is what we deal with here at Canon India. It is not like a small shop where you can just wander in. There is a lot of security and paperwork involved. The air conditioning is always on full blast, which is a bit much sometimes. We have a small pantry where we get our coffee and talk about the weekend. Most of the day is spent on computers or in meetings in the small glass rooms. Even though it is a big company, our specific team on the 7th floor is just a group of regular people trying to get through the daily tasks. We deal with a lot of different departments across the country from this building. It is a fast-paced environment and sometimes it feels a bit repetitive, but we keep at it.
