You can find C N C Machining Technology over in Udyog Vihar, specifically in the H S I D C area at D-9, Phase VI. It’s right near Gurgaon Village, though the atmosphere is purely industrial once you get into our block. Our workshop is usually a noisy place because the CNC machines are running for most of the day. We spend our time programming the machines and then watching them carefully to make sure nothing goes wrong. It’s a lot of standing around and then a lot of quick adjustments. The air usually smells like cutting oil and metal. We do a lot of work for other businesses, making specific parts out of metal or plastic. The shop floor isn't exactly tidy; there are bins of scrap material and stacks of finished parts waiting to be picked up. In the summer months, it gets incredibly hot inside despite the fans, but that is just part of working in a factory setting. We don't have a receptionist or a fancy entrance. You just walk through the main door and you’re right there in the middle of the work. Most of our neighbors are doing similar manufacturing work, so we all understand the hustle. We focus on getting the measurements right because even a tiny mistake means the part is useless. It’s tedious sometimes, but it’s what we do. We try to be honest about how long a job will take.
