Babbar Plastics & Rubber Industries

Our workshop, Babbar Plastics & Rubber Industries, is tucked away in the Manoher Nager area off Basai Road. We have been here for a good number of years now. It is a functional space filled with various machines and molds for making plastic and rubber parts. It’s not a quiet place by any means. The sound of the machinery is a constant background noise that we don't even notice anymore. We have a small team of workers who know exactly how to handle the presses. Our hands and clothes are usually covered in some kind of dust or oil by the end of the shift. We aren't making anything fancy, just the basic parts that other businesses and people in the area need. The building itself is quite plain with a concrete floor and some old metal doors. We spend a lot of time checking the quality of the items coming off the line to make sure they aren't warped or damaged. Sometimes we have issues with the raw material supply, and that causes a bit of stress. We just deal with it as it comes. It’s a lot of manual labor and standing around in the heat of the machines. We take our breaks together and talk about whatever is going on in the city. It’s steady work and it keeps the lights on. We don't have any corporate offices or big marketing teams here. It is just a place where we work hard and produce parts.
