Our place is over at 26 DLF Industrial Area, Phase 1. If you know the area, you know it is always packed with trucks and people moving things around. Autostart India has been operating out of this spot for a good while. It is a noisy neighborhood, but that is what you expect in an industrial zone. Inside, it is mostly rows of parts and a few desks where we handle the orders. We deal with a lot of electrical stuff and starters, hence the name. It gets dusty pretty fast with all the traffic outside, so someone is always wiping things down. The lighting in the back of the shop isn't the best, but we know where everything is by heart now. Huge corporate structures with layers of management aren't how we do things. If something needs fixing or an order needs to go out, we just do it ourselves. Some days are slower than others, which gives us time to organize the shelves, but usually, it is just one thing after another. Our small crew has been working together long enough to know what the other person is thinking. We don't spend much time on the computer unless it’s necessary. Most of the real work happens with our hands. It's a straightforward way to earn a living and it keeps us busy from morning until the sun goes down.
