Ashmeetas Beauty Lounge

I've been running Ashmeetas Beauty Lounge here in DLF City 51 for a while now. The space isn't huge, but it gets the job done. We usually start our day around ten in the morning, unlocking the front door and getting the towels ready. There's a lot of dust that settles overnight, so wiping down the mirrors is the first thing on the list. Most people around here know us by now. They stop in for a quick trim or to get their nails done when they have a spare hour. We’ve got three chairs and a small waiting area that gets a bit cramped on Saturdays. Sometimes the air conditioner makes a funny rattling noise, but it keeps the place cool enough. My cousin helps out on the busy days, and we just chat with whoever walks in. It’s not a fancy place with velvet ropes or anything, just a regular spot to get cleaned up. We use the same products we’ve used for years because we know how they work. The neighborhood has changed quite a bit since we opened, with new buildings going up nearby, but we’re still here in the same spot. It’s a lot of standing on your feet all day, which can get tiring by six or seven o’clock. But then we just sweep up the hair, lock up, and head home to do it all again tomorrow. It's a simple life.
