Anjus Beauty Parlour

Anjus Beauty Parlour is situated in Vakil Market 25, which is part of DLF City Phase IV. This market is always a bit crowded, especially in the evenings when people are coming home from work. Our shop is at number 25. It’s a standard size for this market, not too big. I remember moving the furniture in and thinking it was a tight fit, but we made it work. The walls have a few scuffs here and there from years of use. We have the usual mirrors and the adjustable chairs. Vakil Market is a lively place to be. You can hear the sounds of the other shops and people talking outside all the time. I usually keep a small radio playing in the background just to have some music. The floor is a light grey and shows every bit of thread or hair, so we are constantly using the broom. It’s a basic setup. We don’t have a big reception area, just a small stool where people can wait. The light from the market stalls outside spills in during the night. It’s a practical place for the neighborhood. People from the nearby apartments in Phase IV come in regularly. It’s nice seeing the same neighbors week after week. We just do our job and keep the place running as best as we can. It has been a good spot for us.
