Aesthetic Interiors

We’ve been here in Huda for a bit now. Our spot is at 1962, right on the first floor. It’s a Sector 23 address, which people around here know pretty well. Aesthetic Interiors is the name on the door, and that’s what we do every day. Most of the time is spent looking at floor plans or talking about what people want for their rooms. The stairs up to the office are a bit of a workout if you go up and down a few times. We have piles of samples everywhere—wood bits, fabric swatches, and stacks of catalogues that never stay organized. It gets quite bright in the afternoons when the sun hits the front windows. Sometimes we just sit there with a mug of tea and look at the street below. It isn’t some fancy corporate office. Just a few of us working in this room. People drop in, sometimes they just want to ask about a paint color or a type of floor tile. We try to keep things easy. The big desk in the corner stays messy because that's where the large drawings end up. Dealing with the traffic in Sector 23 is probably the most annoying part of the morning. But once you are inside 1962, it is mostly just us doing our work and trying to finish things before it gets dark. It's a regular place with regular people doing the best they can to get things right.
