Up in Amritsar, in the Ajnala area, you can find us on Sr. Waryam Singh Street. Patel Engineering Ltd is located at Home No. 1308. It’s a residential street, so it’s fairly quiet compared to the main roads. We’ve set up our office inside this house, which makes for a very relaxed atmosphere. Most of our work involves projects across the district, so the office is mostly for the planning and the paperwork. We have a small garden in the front where we sit sometimes to talk about the project budgets. The kitchen is always busy because someone is always making parathas or tea. It feels more like a family business even though we are part of a larger company. The rooms are filled with desks and computers, and we have a lot of storage in the back for our surveying tools. In the winter, it gets quite cold here, so we all huddle around a small heater. In the summer, the thick walls of the house keep it somewhat cool. We know most of the neighbors on the street and they don't seem to mind the occasional delivery truck. It’s a decent place to work away from the noise of the city center. We just focus on our technical tasks and make sure our clients are getting what they asked for in the first place without any delays.
