About Dogra Pastries Shop – Industrial Plant & Machines in Gurdaspur
Our shop is right in the Main Bazar, just a short walk from the Gurudwara Sahib. It’s a good location because there’s always someone walking by. We focus on pastries and some basic bakery items. It’s a family-run kind of place, so you’ll usually see one of us behind the counter or in the back working on a batch of dough. The shop is small and the shelves are usually filled with whatever we finished baking that morning. We don’t use any special additives or fancy decorations. Everything looks a bit homemade because it actually is. Sometimes the frosting on a cake isn't perfectly smooth, but it tastes good, and that’s what matters to us. The Main Bazar can be very hectic, especially during festivals, and we often have a line out the door. We don't have a big staff, so things can get a bit slow when it’s crowded, but people are usually patient. We’ve been near the Gurudwara for years and we know most of our neighbors. We aren’t looking to become a big brand or anything. We just like making pastries and seeing people enjoy them. It’s a lot of work getting up early to start the ovens, but we’re used to it by now. The shop is a bit old-fashioned, with simple glass cases and wooden counters, but it works for us and our customers. It’s just how we do things.
