Svs Blue Metal

We’ve been here at 217, Nadikudi for a while now. It’s a loud place most days because of the machinery running to process the blue metal. If you come by, you’ll see the piles of stone everywhere and the trucks waiting to get loaded up. It gets pretty dusty, but that’s just how it is with this kind of work. We mostly just focus on getting the orders ready and making sure the crushers don’t break down in the middle of a busy shift. My brother and I started this after seeing how much construction was going on around here. There isn't much to the office, just a desk and some old chairs where we sit to do the accounts after everyone else goes home. Sometimes the weather makes it tough, especially when it rains heavy and the ground turns to mud, which makes moving the heavy equipment a real headache. We don't really have a fancy website or anything like that. Most people just know where we are in Nadikudi and give us a call or drop in when they need materials for a foundation or a road. It’s hard work, and our hands are always dirty, but seeing a finished pile of gravel ready to go makes it feel like we did something useful today. We keep track of everything in a big ledger and try to keep things moving as fast as we can without overcomplicating the whole process.
