Ssa Welding Services is located at 3-2-148 in Kvp Colony, right along Etukuru Road. If you are looking for us, just listen for the sound of metal hitting metal or look for the bright flashes of the welding arcs. The shop is pretty open to the street, so we get a lot of dust from the passing vehicles. We have our welding sets and gas cylinders lined up against the wall. It’s a hot job, especially when you have to wear the heavy leather gloves and the face shield all day long. My hands are usually covered in soot, and there are always little burn marks on my clothes from the sparks. We do all sorts of things, from fixing gate hinges to putting together iron frames for small sheds. Kvp Colony is a decent place to work, and the people around here are mostly friendly. We don't have a lot of space, so we have to be careful where we put things so nobody trips. The floor is just rough concrete and it's covered in offcuts of rod and angle iron. We don't have any big corporate goals; we just want to finish the work on time and move on to the next thing. It’s a simple, honest way to spend the day. Sometimes we stay late when there’s a big job, working under a few bright bulbs until the street goes quiet.
