Parihar Industries

Parihar Industries is located at 15/2 on the 2nd Main Road in Arundelpet. This area is always loud and full of activity. We have our small unit here where we handle the daily production. The machines have a specific rhythm that you get used to after a few days. We start the day by oiling the parts and making sure everything is running okay. The 2nd Main Road is tight, so when a delivery truck comes, it blocks the whole street for a minute. We have to move fast to get things unloaded. The walls inside are a bit stained from the grease, but that’s just how an industrial shop looks. We don't have a receptionist or a waiting room. If you come in, you’ll likely find us on the shop floor with our sleeves rolled up. We have a small corner with a table where we keep the blueprints and the lunch boxes. In the afternoons, the heat in Arundelpet can be tough, so we keep the back door open to get a breeze. Most of our workers have been with us for years. We know each other's families and stories. It is a gritty job, but it is honest. We don’t do any fancy talk. We just do the work that comes in and try to keep the machines from breaking down. It’s been our life for a long time now and we just keep going.
