Our place is at 781/3 on Mani Road right by the cement factory in Dachepalli. Chettinad Cement Corporation Ltd. has been here for a while and we are used to the noise from the factory nearby. It is a constant sound in the background while we work. Mani Road gets a lot of heavy vehicles passing through which keeps us on our toes. We spend our time between the office and the storage areas. There isn't much to say about the decor because we focus on utility. The walls are a bit worn and the floor is always a little gray from the dust. We drink a lot of tea to stay going during the long shifts. It is a good spot for us because being so close to the factory makes things simpler for the logistics. We see the same faces every day and that is fine with us. When people come by they usually know what they are looking for so we don't have to explain much. We keep the gates open during the day and close up tight once the sun goes down. The routine doesn't change much from week to week. We are just here to do the job at Chettinad Cement Corporation Ltd. and go home to our families. It is a basic setup on Mani Road and it works for everyone involved in the daily grind of running things. We do not need much more than that.
