Ayyappa Industries

Our place is out in Village Kotappa Nagar on Enugupalem Road. If you know the Vinukonda Mandal area in Guntur, we are right opposite the SR Petrol Pumps and near the railway gate. You can often hear the trains going by while we are working on a project. We do industrial work here. The shop is big and stays open to catch the breeze. It gets quite dusty because of the road and the type of work we do. We have been at this spot for a few years now. Most of our workers live in the nearby villages. We start early in the morning before the sun gets too high and hot. There is always something to be welded or moved around the yard. We don't have a fancy reception area. If someone comes by, they usually just walk up to the main gate and ask for us. We deal with a lot of local farmers and small businesses who need things made. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait a bit for it to come back, which is just how it is in this part of the district. We don't try to make the place look like a big corporation. It is a local industry run by local people. We focus on the daily tasks and making sure the jobs get finished. It is a simple life and business. We like being near the station.
