M S P Stone

M S P Stone is located at 41/177 on Station Road in Sangameshwar Nagar. Being near the station means there is always people moving about and a lot of noise. We keep our stock of stones right there where people can see them. It isn't a fancy shop. It’s more of a yard where we keep different types of stone for building and paving. We spend a lot of time outside, even when it’s hot. People come by asking for specific sizes or colors, and we go through the piles to find what they need. It’s heavy work and my back feels it at the end of the day. We don't have a big fancy office with chairs. We mostly stand around the yard talking to customers or the truck drivers. The inventory changes depending on what we can get from the quarries. Sometimes we have plenty of one thing and nothing of another. That’s just how the stone business goes. We don't use any slick advertising. Most people just see the sign when they're walking from the station and come in to ask a price. We keep a ledger for the accounts and try to stay on top of the deliveries. It’s a straightforward business. We just sell stone to people who are building houses or fixing their walls. It’s nothing more and nothing less than that.
