Son Marble & Grynite

Son Marble & Grynite is situated on the Beeta 1 main road in Rampur Jagir. We are quite close to the Noida Authority Office, which is the main landmark around here. Our yard is full of big slabs of marble and granite stacked against the walls. It is heavy, physical work moving these pieces around every day. Because we are on the main road, the place gets quite a lot of traffic passing by. The yard is usually a bit dusty because of all the stone cutting we do. We aren't a fancy showroom with air conditioning; it’s just a working yard where we store and cut stone. The sun beats down on the marble in the afternoons and it can get quite hot out there. We spend our time measuring slabs and showing the different colors and grains to people who drop by. Rampur Jagir is always busy with new houses being built, so there is always something going on. We have a small crew and we just handle the slabs as they come in on the trucks. Sometimes the delivery trucks have a hard time backing into the yard because the main road is so busy. It’s just a local stone business and we don't try to make it look like anything else. Most of the time our clothes are covered in stone dust and we’re just busy getting the next order ready for someone’s kitchen or floor.
