Rohit Surfactants Pvt. Ltd.

We are out at Plot No. 4 in Ecotech- 2. It’s a bit of a drive from the main city, but this is where the factories are. Rohit Surfactants Pvt. Ltd. has been operating here for a while. We make cleaning agents and things like that for other companies to use. The floors are concrete and the pipes run all over the ceiling. It’s a noisy place with trucks coming in and out at all hours of the day. We have a small office at the front where we keep the paperwork, but most of us are usually out on the production floor checking the tanks. It’s hot in the summer and the smell of soap and chemicals is always in the air. We don’t have fancy lunchrooms, just a few benches where the guys sit during their break to eat their tiffins. We deal with suppliers and transport people all day long. It gets stressful when a shipment is late or a machine stops working, but we usually figure it out ourselves. We aren't some massive corporation with a glass building. We are just a group of people making surfactants in a brick building in Ecotech. Some days are long, and we go home covered in white dust or smelling like detergent. It’s honest work though. We just try to keep the production line moving so everyone gets their orders on time. The gate is always open during the day if someone needs to talk to the manager or check on a delivery at the warehouse.
