Procyon Softnet India is based over in Panchvati Nagar. If you know the Bharavaliya area in Gorakhpur, you’ll find us there without much trouble. It’s a decent spot, not too far from the main city traffic but far enough that we can actually hear ourselves think. We’ve been set up here for a while now. The office is pretty basic, just what we need to get the software work handled. Most days it’s just the sound of typing and maybe someone’s phone ringing. We don’t have a receptionist or a big fancy front desk. If someone comes to visit, one of us just gets up and opens the door. It’s a bit of a climb to get here, but the view of the street below is okay. Gorakhpur has changed a lot lately, and we’re just trying to keep up with everything. Sometimes the power goes out, which is annoying, but we have a backup and just keep going. We eat our lunch together most days, usually stuff we brought from home. It’s not a big team, just a few people who know each other well. We don’t spend much time on fancy presentations or anything like that. We just do the work and go home to our families when the day is done. It’s a regular life, really. We like it this way because it stays simple.
