Madhweshia Fast Food & Caterers

If you’re visiting the Gorakhnath Mandir in Gorakhpur, you’ve probably walked right past Madhweshia Fast Food & Caterers. We are situated very close to the temple, which means the area is almost always crowded with people, especially during festivals or on special days. It’s a busy spot to run a business, but we like the energy of it. We handle both the fast food side of things for people walking by and the catering for local events. It’s a lot of work, and the kitchen is usually a bit of a chaotic place with stoves going and people moving around. We don't have a big fancy office for our catering business; most of the planning happens right there on the shop floor or over the phone. The shop itself is small and gets quite warm when we are busy cooking up snacks. We started this because we liked being around the Mandir and the community that gathers there. You’ll often see us packing up large containers of food for a wedding or a party somewhere else in Gorakhpur. It’s not a polished operation, and sometimes things get a bit messy when we’re in the middle of a big order, but we always manage to get it done. We’re just regular people working in a very famous part of the city, trying to keep up with the demand. It’s a simple life, but being near the Mandir makes it special in its own way for us.
