We have been here at Badka Tola for a while now. Dealing with sand, bricks, and cement is just what we do every day. People from around Padri Bazar and Shahpur come by when they are starting a new room or fixing a wall. It is busy here near the Rice Mill Road, especially in the mornings. We keep the yard stocked because you never know when someone will need a load of gravel. It is hard work, dusty too, but someone has to supply the materials. The shop isn't fancy. We just keep the ledger books and talk to the drivers. Dealing with building stuff means you get to know the local contractors well. Sometimes the weather makes things slow, but mostly we are just moving things in and out. It’s a straightforward business. We just stay open and wait for the next tractor to pull up. Being located in Mohanpur makes it easy for folks in Jangle Dhushar to reach us without going all the way into the main city. We know the roads around here can be tricky, so we try to keep our delivery guys on time. It is just about getting the job done. If someone needs a few bags of cement or some steel rods, we find a way to get it to them. No big stories here, just a lot of heavy lifting and keeping track of the inventory so nothing runs out when a site is active. Sometimes the mud makes things difficult during the rains, but we just put down some planks and keep moving.
