Astro Light & Sound(Close Down)

We are located on Menka Cinema Road in Gorakhpur, not too far from Savitri Hospital. Astro Light & Sound has been a part of this street for a long time. Even though things have changed and we’ve had to slow down or close up parts of the business, the memories of all the events remain. We used to spend our nights surrounded by speakers, amplifiers, and all sorts of wiring. It was a loud job, but there was something satisfying about getting the sound just right for a local festival or a party. The equipment takes up a lot of room, and we still have some of it tucked away. Menka Cinema Road is always buzzing with people, and being near the hospital means there’s always movement outside our door. We remember the days when we were out every weekend, lugging heavy gear into trucks and setting up stages in the heat. It wasn't easy on the back, but we enjoyed the work. We never went in for the flashy marketing stuff. We just knew our machines and how to make them work. People in Gorakhpur knew us for being reliable when they needed lights for their functions. It’s a bit quieter now, but the shop is still there. We’ve seen the neighborhood grow and change while we stayed in the same spot. It’s been an honest living, working with our hands and ears, making sure the music was loud enough.
