Bhartiya Sanskriti Sabe Organisation

We’re located on Nahar Road in the Bahrampur area of Gorakhpur. The Bhartiya Sanskriti Sabe Organisation has its roots right here in this neighborhood. Our office is a simple place where we manage all the different activities we’re involved in. Being near the canal road means it’s a bit of a trek for some people to get to us, but it’s a nice, grounded part of town. Most of what we do involves cultural projects and community things that keep us pretty busy throughout the year. We aren't a big, polished corporation with a lot of money; we’re more of a grassroots group. Our desks are usually covered in flyers and notes for upcoming events. We spend a lot of time talking to local people and trying to organize meetings that actually matter to the community. It’s not always easy, and sometimes we struggle to get everything done with the limited hands we have. We don't have a big fancy mission statement written on the wall. We just show up every day and try to do something that feels right for our culture and our people. The office is often full of neighbors dropping in for a chat or to ask about what we’re planning next. It can be a bit loud and disorganized sometimes, but it’s an honest way to work. We just take things one day at a time here in Bahrampur and try to be helpful to the folks who live around us.
