Fairness Beauty Parlour

Fairness Beauty Parlour is located at number 25 in Karima Baug Society, which is out in Gondal. We are right across from the ITI College, so we see a lot of students and staff walking around all day. The area is usually quite active because of the college. Our shop is just a regular room that we’ve set up for our work. We have the basic equipment like chairs, mirrors, and a few shelves for the bottles and jars we use. The walls are a pale color and there are a few photos taped up here and there. It’s not a large space, so we have to be careful where we put things so nobody trips. We get a lot of people from the society coming in, and we've gotten to know their families over time. It feels like a community spot more than a business sometimes. The sink in the back sometimes takes a while to drain, so we have to be patient with it. We keep a small radio on the shelf to listen to the news or some music while we work. It’s a quiet life for the most part, except for when the college lets out and the street gets loud for an hour. We just keep doing our thing day after day, making sure we are ready when the bell on the door rings.
