We are out in Gondal, right on the Jetpur Road. Our shop is located same as the Panjarapol Bus Stop. It is a handy spot because people waiting for the bus often look in or come in for a quick trim if they have some time before their ride arrives. Gondal is a bit smaller than Rajkot, so things feel a little slower here, which we actually like. We have been doing hair for a long time. The shop is not very large, but we have everything we need to do a good job. We use the traditional razors and scissors. Sometimes the dust from the road comes in when the wind blows, so we are always dusting the counters. We see a lot of travelers passing through on their way to Jetpur or further down the road. It is interesting to hear where everyone is going. The bus stop is right there, so we hear the conductors shouting all day long. We have a few old benches outside where people sit when the shop is full. It is a modest place, just wood and glass and the smell of aftershave. We work six days a week and usually take Sundays off to rest. The local farmers stop by too after they are done with their work. They usually want something simple that won't get in their way. We know the regulars well.
