Sts International School

We opened Sts International School here on By Pass Road in Mardah because the area needed a place for kids to study without traveling too far. Ghazipur is home for us and we like being part of it. Every morning, the gates open and the buses pull in. It gets pretty loud early on, but that is just how schools are. We have classrooms for different ages and a playground that stays dusty during the dry months. The teachers live nearby mostly. We spend a lot of time just keeping things running, fixing desks, or making sure the water coolers are full. It is not fancy here, but we try to keep the kids focused on their books. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to open all the windows to get a breeze. The kids do not seem to mind much and they just keep writing. We see parents coming by to ask about exams or just to check on their children. It is a busy life here in Ghazipur. We just take it day by day and try to stay organized. Some days are smoother than others. Most of the time, we are just happy to see the students learning something new. We do not have big speeches or anything. It is just a school for the local families around Mardah. We are right there on the road, so people can find us easily. It is hard work running a place like this.
