Shri. Sukhdev Pahalwan Inter College

Shri. Sukhdev Pahalwan Inter College is located right in Madarpur, Ghazipur. We have been around for quite a while now, and the building definitely shows it, but it gets the job done for the local kids. Most of our students come from the nearby villages, arriving on bicycles or walking along the dusty roads. We mainly focus on the older students in the 11th and 12th grades. The mornings are usually a bit of a scramble when the first bell rings and everyone tries to get to their seats. It’s not a fancy place with high-tech gadgets or air conditioning. We just have classrooms, chalkboards, and teachers who have been doing this for years. Sometimes the power goes out during the day, so we just open the windows and keep going with the lesson. We teach the standard subjects that everyone needs to pass their exams. The parents often stop by the office to talk about how their kids are doing, and we usually know them all by name since it’s a small community. We have some trees in the yard where students sit during the lunch break to get some shade. The office is always piled high with stacks of registers and old paperwork, which is just how we manage things here. It’s a simple, honest school where we try to keep the focus on the books. We’ve seen many batches graduate and move on to bigger things over the years.
