Vishal Engineers

Our workshop is inside the Kirpal Foundry Compound at Sihani Chungi. We are right off Meerut Road. Being in a foundry compound means there is always a certain smell of hot metal and sand in the air. It’s a very industrial environment and not for everyone. We have been here at Vishal Engineers for many years now. The walls are a bit stained from all the work, but that’s just a sign of how much we do. We have several machines that run almost all day long. Sihani Chungi is a busy place, and there’s always something happening just outside our gates with the traffic and the vendors. We don’t have a website with fancy photos or anything digital. If you want to see what we do, you just have to come by the compound and look. We usually have some scrap metal piled up in the corner and tools spread across the benches in the middle of a job. It is how we like to work. The crew is mostly local guys who have been in the trade for their whole lives. We don’t use complicated software for everything; a lot of it is just experience and knowing how the metal is going to react under the heat. It gets dusty and loud, but we are used to it. We just focus on making things that are solid and last a long time. It is hard work but it is honest and it keeps the lights on.
