Tip-Top Beauty Saloon

Tip-Top Beauty Saloon is tucked away at C-5 in Jeevan Vihar, which is part of the Shastri Nagar area in Ghaziabad. We are quite close to the Razapur railway crossing, so you can often hear the trains passing by while we are working. It’s a residential neighborhood, so most of our customers are the ladies who live in the nearby houses. I started this salon because there weren't many places around here for women to get their beauty work done without traveling too far. We do the regular stuff like waxing, facials, and bridal makeup when it is the right season. The shop is small and cozy, and I like it that way because it feels more personal. I know most of my customers' names and we usually end up talking about our kids or what we are cooking for dinner. It isn't a high-end place with a receptionist; you just walk in and if I’m busy, you sit on the sofa and wait a bit. I try to keep the place looking nice with some plants and clean curtains. Sometimes the electricity goes off and we have to use the hand fans, but nobody seems to mind too much. It’s just part of living in Ghaziabad. I’ve been here for several years now and the community has been very supportive of my small business. It’s a quiet life but I stay busy enough.
