The Fashion House

The Fashion House is located at K - 708, Sector - 23, over in Sanjay Nagar, Ghaziabad. It is more of a local workshop and shop than a big retail store. We have racks of clothes and rolls of fabric sitting around in different corners. The lighting is a bit bright because we need to see what we are doing with the needles and thread. Sanjay Nagar is a residential area mostly, so it feels a bit more relaxed than the city center. We get a lot of people from the nearby blocks who just stop in to see what is new or to ask for a repair. There is usually the sound of a sewing machine running in the back room. The space is filled with the smell of new cloth and sometimes a bit of steam from the iron. We don't have a big staff, just a few people who know their way around a garment. Sometimes the place gets a bit cluttered with half-finished items, but we eventually get through the pile. Ghaziabad can be quite noisy, but inside Sector - 23, it stays relatively calm. We have a small table where we sit to take measurements or just have a chat with whoever walks in. It is a very hands-on kind of business. We do not use any fancy computer systems for our work, just notebooks and measuring tapes. It is a humble little spot where we put in our hours every day.
